THE LEARNING CENTRE ALWAYS
VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST
Volunteers are the heart and
soul of our success! By volunteering you will fulfil a vital
role in improving the lives of our children as well as
assisting the wonderful work of the Learning Centre.
You will experience the rewarding satisfaction of helping a
child overcome dyslexia.
You will provide a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment
for the children, families, tutors and administrative
You will work in partnership with other volunteers, who have
a commitment of about 2-3 hours a week.
Duties will include opening
and closing the Learning Centre, reception, welcoming
parents and children, security, refreshment services and
similar light tasks.
In order to provide protection
for the volunteers, officers and directors involved in the
operation of the Learning Centre, everyone is insured
against third party claims for negligence of physical/sexual
abuse, as well as for the protection of the assets of the
Center; a minimum level of coverage of $2,000,000 has been
